Les rituels du Hajj: Le Sa`y
Il est la quatrième obligation de la `Omrah de tamatto`. Pour que le Sa`y soit valide, il faut l’accomplir dans l’intention de se rapprocher d’Allah et en toute sincérité. Couvrir les parties intimes n’est pas une condition de sa validité, ni la purification du “hadath” (la sortie d’urine, de matières fécales, de gaz intestinal, de sperme etc..) ou du “khobth” (une impureté matérielle), bien que “la position juridique prioritaire” commande la purification.
Article 333: L’horaire du Sa`y se situe après le Tawâf et la prière de Tawâf. Si donc, quelqu’un fait le Sa`y avant le Tawâf ou avant la prière de Tawâf, il doit le recommencer après les avoir accomplis. Nous avons vu précédemment le statut de celui qui, ayant oublié de faire le Tawâf, s’en souvient après l’accomplissement du Sa`y.

Hajj Rituals: Obligations of Sa’y
This is the fourth obligation in Umrat-ut-Tamatu’. In Sa’y too, intention to seek closeness to Allah (SWT) is obligatory but there is no obligation to cover the private parts, [although exposing one’s genitals in a public place is not allowed], or for Taharah from urine or excrement, although it is preferable (Al-Awla) to be Tahir during Sa’y.
Rule 333: Sa’y is to be performed after Tawaf and its prayer. If it is performed before the Tawaf or prayer, it is obligatory to repeat it after performing both. As for the one who forgets to perform Tawaf, but recalls after performing Sa’y, the rule has already been set out.
